About Me
Born in Fortaleza / CE - Brazil, I have a Master and Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal do Ceará. I participated in projects of Scientific Initiation in the areas of Applied Mathematics and Linear Algebra under the guidance of Prof. Luquésio Petrola de Melo Jorge. I had my dissertation advised by Prof. José Othon Dantas Lopes and Co-advised by Prof. Diego Marques Ferreira. Concluded the Doctorate in Mathematics at the Universidade de Brasília under the advise of Prof. Diego Marques Ferreira. So far, my Erdös Number is 3 (http://www.oakland.edu/enp/).
Nowadays, I hold a position of Adjunct Professor at IME/UFG, in Goiânia, where, besides of teaching and researching, I also am part of the teams of Extension Program Projects related to mathematical olympiads, such as the Mathematical Olympiad of the State of Goiás and Mathematical Circles of Goiânia, which offers free-of-charge training for mathletes.
Something very important about me is: I love dogs! :)
I am the proud owner of a couple: Pascal (after the great Blaise Pascal, a mutt) and Jane (after Jane Jacobs, a Shar Pei). Below, a picture in a rare moment of peace.
